Rosie Huntington

RosieQueen Latifah was born Dana Elaine Owens on March 18, 1970, in Newark, New Jersey. The second daughter of Lance and Rita Owens, Latifah is best known for her performance skills, political stance and ability to rhyme. When she was just 8 years old, young when she was eight, a Muslim cousin named her Latifah, meaning "delicate and sensitive" in Arabic. Latifah sang with the Shiloh Baptist Church's Choir located in Bloomfield, New Jersey. Her first public performance , singing "Home" as one of the two Dorothys in a production of The Wizard of Oz. Latifah was impressed by her mother, who was always in touch with the students and music. Mark James, a local disc jockey, also well-known as D.J., was invited to attend the event. Mark the 45 King was asked to sing at a school dance.
