Niykee continues to write songs, even though she has been caught up in the current turmoil. Her selection was made for her participation in YouTube Brandcast by Snoop and the rapper was with her on stage. She is a constant magnet for producers who are just beginning their careers. Many of the tracks she gets are a source of song ideas. It's only after five minutes when I'm able to determine whether a beat is worth it. From there I am able to see the concept of a complete song in my brain and I start to write. My guitar is set up on the back of my porch and I let the thoughts flow.
