Alexa Meade measurements, bio, height, weight, shoe, and bra size
Her initial inspiration was shadows reflected on grass. After a few weeks she devised a process that did not make the subject onto canvas in a flat image. If the object is alive or perishable like fruit and even people and other objects, they are transformed into paintings of them. The transient nature of her art style is apparent and what survives in Alexa Meade's work is the photograph. As the photographic and painting techniques are coordinated so closely, the end result is the trompe-l'oeil effect in which the illusion of three dimensions can only be seen at specific points, such as the region around the eyes or the hair. Meade sometimes incorporates painted models in the space surrounding them. It allows them to be part of the world the artist has constructed. The lines between performance, photography, and installation can be dissolved.
