Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah is an Indian actor, playback vocalist and a musician who works predominantly in Tamil and Malayalam film languages. Her first appearance as an actor was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam as well as her Malayalam debut with Annayum is in the film. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's father was an Madras High Court lawyer. Her older sister is who is a resident of Leuven Belgium working as a Research Assistant. Jeremiah grew up close to Chennai she attended National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano at the age of eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars at age 10. It was this group that shaped the foundation for her music and singing career. In her college, she was also an actor and appeared in stage productions that were put on by The Madras Players. Andrea was the president of the Women's Christian College's Student Senate. Andrea began the acting profession as a child actress as a child actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. Andrea was in the lead role with Shiva as part of a coffee ad in 2006. In 2006, she starred in a show that was shown on Podhigai. She acted throughout India.
